Green tomatoes

The essence of impatience.

I entered this gardening season guns a’blazing. I moved into an apartment that not only has a backyard but that backyard actually receives at least 8 hours of full sun! My enthusiasm bordered on mania, to the point where my typically rather indulgent partner forbade me from telling him about one. more. tomato. variety.

My eagerness led me to bite off a little more than I chew, as the upcoming images will probably convey. However, I learned an enormous amount about gardening, the urban ecosystem, my neighborhood, and more. I hope these lessons will help someone else. Welcome to my jungle- it certainly has the biodiversity and the mosquito population to be called that!
